Last year I had the opportunity to hear Wayne Dyer speak at a Hay House event in Tampa. They showed a brief excerpt from the movie they were about to produce. At the time, it was called, “From Ambition to Meaning”. That certainly caught my attention, because I’ve been talking about spirituality in midlife and the fact that the midlife transition is a move from ambition to meaning. The movie certainly didn’t disappoint!
Some people have called me a female Wayne Dyer… and I take that as quite a compliment. And, yes, I keep finding that the books he comes out with are exactly what I’ve been thinking about. (There truly is ONE MIND in the Universe which we all share!)
When the movie was actually released to the public, they changed the name to ‘The SHIFT” and now, a new book has come out as a companion to the movie. I haven’t read the book yet, but I certainly intend to and before I even do, I’m recommending it to everyone I know – because if it is even half as impactful as the movie, it will be well worth it — PLUS, you get to see it for FREE if you buy the book in the prescribed time. Do it NOW while you are thinking about it – Go to the picture in the sidebar and click on it to ORDER NOW..
The concepts in the movie and the book are soul provoking. I showed the movie to one group that had many people who had been let go on a job – and they came out saying, they now understood why! Any of the typical midlife crisis struggles can be seen in a whole new light.
All I can say about this book is – I wish I had written it… Well, I guess if we truly are all ONE, then – hey, I HAVE!
Thanks Wayne Dyer…
