Every now and then, it’s a good idea to re-assess your life. I once studied with Ira Progoff, author of the Intensive Journal, and he used to ask the question, “What does my life wish to become?”
For those of us who are ‘aging’ (and who isn’t!), it’s a good idea to ask that question periodically. Sometimes, it’s important to look at the past and see what might be incomplete. For example, we often start projects that seem meaningful at the time, but somehow get derailed. Perhaps it is time to revisit these. Or, maybe there’s something you’ve always wanted to do but never found the time. If you have the time now, why not pursue those interests.
I’ve produced a video about life review that might help you get started. You can find it here.
